Are you struggling with issues related to developmental trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, or major life changes? There comes a time when we choose some support, and I’d love to help you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery in a personalized, mindful, humanistic way. Life can be overwhelming and sometimes even exhausting, but I’m here to support you in what may be getting into the way. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply and provide a safe, trusted place for curiosity, growth and transformation.
Get to Know Me
Hi there and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Dede Johnson (Deanna Sigman Johnson) and I’m a human on my own journey too! I was brought to this work as I truly believe of everyone's right and deserving to our own healing.

In my practice I believe in compassion and meeting you where you are! I walk along my clients' journey towards growth and transformation along with gently challenging clients. In this approach, I believe in utilizing curiosity toward a mindful, somatic approach towards understanding what is getting in the way of what a client really wants, including connecting to their authentic self. I am a NARM (NeuroAffectve Relational Model) Master Therapist, NARM Training Assistant, TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I utilize elements of the mind-body connection, trauma informed care, grief and loss, strengths perspective, and the research of Brené Brown in my work with clients. I truly feel it is an honor to walk alongside my clients and see transformation in their lives.

I previously practiced law but decided to change course to social work in order to help clients through a more intimate connection. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with my Masters of Science in Social Work in 2011 and have been practicing in the Austin area since that time. I have worked with children with special medical needs and their families in an inpatient and outpatient medical setting as well as children, adults and families in an inpatient psychiatric setting. I hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker license in Texas, Minnesota and Virginia. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey!

Individual Therapy
Finding You
In my therapy sessions, I will be joining you on your journey towards understanding yourself and what is getting in the way of your authentic self, including strategies that are no longer serving you. I’m confident you’ll find my personalized Individual Therapy beneficial and inspirational. Currently I’m seeing ages 16 and older and my hourly fee is $165/hour. I am currently a nonparticipating network provider for Tricare. Get in touch to book an appointment.
